It sucks to see Keenan not be a Charger. Honestly I believe this will help Herbert grow as he tended to rely on Keenan too much and zero in on him. Teams knew that and also zeroed in on Keenan and Herbert would still try and throw it to him when other WRs or TEs would be wide open.

No it isnt. He is a very good possession receiver. But defenses dont have to play deep or fear getting beat in the deep part of the field. How about we add that element to the offense? Palmer can provide the possession role.

The two things aren't mutually exclusive. You can have the reliable possession receiver who can make every 3rd down play and get a speed guy
