Bozeman - like most of the free agents signed - are one year stop gaps to add depth and some certainty to certain positions just in case the draft doesn't pan out how JH2 want it to pan out

I think IOL will be addressed in the draft at some point. Probably Day 3 pick at this point

Chargers have so many areas to address that they will be able to be varied in their pursuits on draft day. As more than likely, unless QB or K - they have a need whether its in 2024 or preparing for 2025

      just add depth and competition.
Develop a few Saturday guys to beat out our starters by 2025.
Brock, CB, WR, LB on Thursday and Friday.
There is a billboard of George Kittle (6'4"/250#) in San Francisco.

He does not look ANY meatier than Brock Bowers (6'4"/240#) does.

What if Chargers draft a real good C and he starts right away. Bozeman because a valuable back up

The FO mentioned Bozemans ability to play G.

I'm all for upgrading all but LOT but my priorities are weapons and defense on day 1 and 2.
as soon as Jim signed, our Oline improved.

Bozeman is also yet another one of these FA players that was in BALT.
Bozeman, Hurst and Mason are going to be tone setters and culture changers more than anything else. Yeah, each one will play but make no mistake, the fact they were all drafted by BALT is the #1 reason they are Chargers. That old, “soft”, “chargering” shit is over, and these guys will see to explaining that in so many words from day 1.

I really really think Bowers has the immeasurables to to do what it takes to be a true championship quality weapon 1.
A true focal point of an offense.
Coaches talk their players up all the time but it's different with Brock.
he missed 2 games with an injury that sidelines most for 4 to 6 weeks according to Simms. Not that he's the "end all be all" but that aligns with everything I've heard since forever.
Freshman starting for Georgia, says it all
he's not going to rest until he's an elite blocker as well as receiver. He's obsessive like LT was about getting better every offseason.
Ben Herbert and G-Ro won't have to be asked twice, they're intending on maximizing his talents. I believe they understand the uniqueness of this opportunity as does Jim..

                  George Kittle draft...

"The San Francisco 49ers selected Kittle in the fifth round with the 146th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft."

                  Pure fantasy on your part....

I don’t know if Kittle is a better blocker than Kelsey or if he is just asked to block more than Kelsey, but he sure does look like a better blocker. Both those guys are not muscled up, but Kelsey plays more like a big WR than Kittle to me. Kittle plays like a real TE.

Maybe...I think we will know for sure after this season if he takes another progressive step to becoming a full time starter.

                          Not sure what it means
and the cost to acquire is prohibitive when you can just draft the WR - so the same argument as Justin Jefferson
but Brandon Aiyuk has UNFOLLOWED the 49ers on social media

                          this is big news

and I like Aiyuk but not at the cost of the contract (4/100) or the draft compensation (in all likelihood it would be pick 37) - just stick to the process JH2
