Clark had 18 receptions as a rookie then took off.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised, Palmer still gets no love in here.

I have all the time in the world for Palmer. I always like to see a Canadian boy or two on the Chargers! But he is what he is and it is not a WR1. I see Palmer as a good WR3, maybe a WR2 ina pinch. He is another possession receiver in the mold of Keenan but not as good. He struggles to get separation and get open at times but has good hands and is competitve. When injuries hit he had to be the de facto #1 it really limited our offence.

If you listen to Hortiz, he has contingency plans for players who are older or have an injury-history. That was one of my biggest gripes with Telesco. He built a house with a weak foundation, which collapsed like a house-of-cards.

The thing I don't understand about the signing of Denzel Perryman is that (1) he's not a guy who's reliable in coverage, and (2) he frequently misses time with injuries.

I have to think that he's being signed primarily as a tempo setter for establishing the new regime's standard for physical play.

They have a lot of faith in Ben Herbert.

The Chargers will be in a position to draft two of the three top receivers, or even all three, if the Cardinals trade down and the trading partner picks another QB. If he said it, it could have been strategic, hoping the Cardinals will reconsider and draft Nabers instead of MH2. Or, he could be trying to entice another team further back to trade with us and draft Nabers, so we can add picks. Who knows?

To me, not really loose lips because of our draft options at pick 5 - if he said it.

Outside of QB...i dont ever want to tip my hand. I want teams thinking. And i get it we are 5 and that gives us a great chance at 1 of the 3. But i just cant see Hortiz saying that unless he really wants to try and get a team to move up. But even then...i dont think he ever said it
