I would prefer to replace him with Joe Alt who by himself can wash out an entire side and also stone and turn an edge player to create a lane.
I think the point was to show that Pipkins is not as horrible as his detractors make him out to be? And if you watch even closer, you'll notice Zion was not as effective. but you do have to watch close so ... you might miss it.

Joe Alt will storm the league and wash out an entire side of a DL? wow, thats amazing! I do like your enthusiasm, you've got me thinking now. I didn't realize he was a superhero.

I am with Maniaq - RT is down the list of urgent improvement needs. If Bosa and Mack are both gone - we need Edge, IDL, RB1, LB (or 2), #1 CB, OC, OG (maybe), TE1, and if MW and KA are both gone, add WR1 to the top of the list too. Of thoses, I'd look FA for some but you won't sign top Edge, CB, WR off the value menu and get much more than JAG.

Upgrading RT would be a nice luxury. I'd invest in DT first for greater team impact but Trust in JH2 to know better than me.

Got it. But trade or cut Bosa post June saves the most money..
So I think they likely already have a plan of attack here to move him post June.

Mack? If they want to free up the money and not pay that bonus, then they would have to do something soon. If they decide they aren't moving him unless they like the deal. Then they could decide to pay the bonus and keep him instead.

I agree the are not really deciding after. I think they have plans and contingency already in place. So not really any new decisions to make here. Just working their processes. Which could include keep Mack and trading Bosa post June.

You need to watch more film.
And then you won't be so ignorant and arrogant.
        Happy Tuesday.

Bosa is due 7m this week end so the June 1 thing is tough as unless he waives the Bonus, the Chargers will pay it. Now, if a team wants the Chargers to pay the $7m and offer a very good draft pick (say a 2 and a 4) - might be worth buying thsoe picks.

I think Bosa will be a June 1 release, no trade

Mack - what is his market? I thought Detroit made sense but who knows. If not that, do you extend him, just pay him his $23,

          Lots of moving parts.

Derwin can play the Roquan Smith LB role
            Henley LB2
            Alohi SS
With those 3 playing close to the LOS, we will both cover and stop the run.

Woods starts at FS or transitions to CB.
            Draft another rangy S

            add depth
If Woods can't cover receivers from his centerfield position, he's probably not going to look better at CB, will he? He hasn't shown he can tackle well enough to bring up in a CB spot either.

Our hope has to be that the Staley 5-dimensional assignment design confused him more than even most DBs on the team and Minter can straighten him out. He did look very confused out there.

Is Woods over the medical condition that held him out last year?

I'm with u, Mac...Now, my top PON is C, but if we trade down to #8-#12 or so, it's too early for C. I think we take C with our high 2nd round pick. If we wait until our second round 2 pick (from trade down, hopefully), or round 3, that may be too late to get a solid DT. If you look at the past two drafts, D-line is highly valued and drafted often. Why? Because SMART GM's and HC's know that generating pass pressure and stopping the run at the LOS is KEY! Now, if you look at the past two drafts, in the first round, Edge rushers were MOST highly valued. But DT's were also valued.

The 2022 draft class was loaded with elite edge rushers, with 3 of the first 5 picks being Edge. But in both drafts, the first DT picked ranged between #9 and #13. My sweet spot for trading down is either the Falcons @#8 or the Vikes @#11. Folks, we have the probable opportunity to pick the TOP DT around that range, if we trade down. And that means, we have a real chance to grab this guy, the elite consensus #1 DT and run-stopper in the 2024 draft:

Hard to say, I mean he was run over many times and also suffered severe burns when he played.

Nope -- maybe a pick swap in 2025 at best at this point. Bosa and MW - sold : )

U never know...How about a package deal? Mike Will and Bosa to the Cheatriots for a 3rd and a 4th rounder...would u do that deal?

Oh hell yes! I said earlier I would take a pick swap in 2025 if that was the best offer. Pattriots can easily take both in a trade if they wanted

Williams and Bosa -- they got an extra 6th from the Jags - add that
