Agreed . . . . . . . . . I'd rather they position the team for 'ultimate' success in 25 and beyond . . . . . . . . . . I'm not throwing in the towel on this year, but I see the 2024 season as more of a building block than a realistic run at a championship.

Don't get me wrong - I have a spreadsheet that has 2024 2025 and 2026 and the Chargers can make it work - meaning I have allocated for if they keep Allen or Mack, adding rookie classes, 53 man roster, etc. And yes, they can push the cap. I just would rather a bit more conservative this year and have the 20-30m of cap space between 2025 and 2026 when I think they will be better and pushing for the division instead of pushing for 9 maybe 10 wins but "chasing cap" in 2026.

The cap will continue to grow in record amounts for the next several years and the Chargers only have the one big contract extension pending with Slater in the next couple of years, I think we all know that KA and Mack are short term guys only if they stick around...I think even with Herbert's cap numbers growing in the years to come, it's safe to say that the current cap situation will be completely off the books by 2026...

I like Josh Jacobs out of all FA running backs. Younger than Saquon, only one year with 300+ carries and not as much wear and tear.

Edgerrin James type of RB who would thrive with a Harbaugh-style OL.

Good amount of 1st downs as a catching target as well.

I heard the exact opposite of this today on the Guilty as Charged podcast.

This tweet doesn't state it well. Pip was league avg in pass block but fail in key moments at pass block which isn't good at all. And he also was bottom of league in run block which this tweet ignores to address. He looks like an overpaid swing tackle to me.

As much as I like to see the moves and transactions - they still have a week to make the moves to get cap compliant and should be using this week to see if there are trades out there. I am sure they have a pretty good understanding of what they need to do but just don't want to make any move until all avenues are extended

Didn't seem to match what Staley had in mind either . . . . . . . . . . Right behind Derwin I think Murray has a chance to shine the most under Harbaugh (as long as we keep him of course). Effort and athleticism have never been his issue - I bet Harbaugh / Minter break through . . . . . . . . .

Morse will be 32 in April and if you want to go by PFF, he had a PFF grade of 64.1 last season.

Is he a 1 year deal guy and we still draft one? I think we can do better.

Biadasz is younger with 68.6

Conner Williams grade was 86.5 but he has the ACL issue. Would be nice to find one who has a grade in the 70's anyways.
