The Jefferson rumors are silly.

It's not really that silly when you know that Viks want to move up to the #5 spot to take a QB. Would you trade Jefferson and the #11 to move up to #5? But as of right now the Chargers can't take on Jefferson's contract even if they extend him because of MW, Bosa, Mack, and KA is still on the team. So, in that case the Charger's would insist they take MW or KA. My guess would be MW.

I would think the Viks would want more than the #5 and MW for the #11 and Jefferson but who knows. It would be silly to think the Chargers would straight up trade for Jefferson, but the Viks want to move up in the draft and would like to trade Jefferson and the Chargers would like to trade down and trade MW. I think this is where the discussion makes since.

Linsley is retireing and they restructured his deal to get 10 mil off the books so he isn't a problem. It's already figured in..

If drafting based strictly on needs we'd probably go WR in 1st and C in 2nd round. Said C could be a 1st rounder in other drafts not having so many QBs, WR, and non Center O-line all in the 1st round.

With the #1, #5, and #9 pick in this year's draft. Talk about trade backs and loading up on draft picks. That would be insane.

BTW, is this what Harbaugh meant when he said don't be surprised if McCarthy is the 1st QB taken in the draft?....lol
