Harbaugh isn't"comfortable" with anything about O as a group. He stated firmly that it was not just the QB. Meaning that he wasn't "comfortable" with the QB play as well as the balance of the O.
Roman included. O sucked.

No argument here . . . . . . . . . but it's hard (for us) to evaluate the entirety of the offense when the QB plays so poorly.

I stated elsewhere, if Perez becomes a part of the Bolts, his impact won't be felt until 2025. He's not here with the expectation of unseating Stick in 2024.
Stick's familiarity from working with Herb for... what? Four years?!?-- is something that Perez can only integrate over a period of time. He won't be (IMO) receiving more than a few snaps in 2024, if he gets any at all. This upcoming season is all about his ability-- or not-- to assimilate the Bolts' offensive system, classroom-wise.
Plus, his body isn't ready for an NFL season after just completing a spring league season, so... no reason to expect anything more than a marginal contribution from him in the NFL this fall.DT Grant, Deone, Omarr, Cross, ED Mykel, Tuimoloau, Sawyer, OG Donovan, Savaiinaea, TE Oronde, Moliki Matavao, DB JaCobee

QB * Herbo, open spot, Perez * send Stick 'n Bauman to ps, not for long for Max ??
RB * Dobbins, Gus, Patterson, Dot, Vidal * Spiller could still surprise, and wondering if JK might be better off as our Ronnie Harmon this season ??
WR * Palmer, Ladd, Chark, QJ, Derrius, Rice, Cornelius * CJ could make the 53 for his STs contribution ??
TE * Will, Hayden, Donald, Heins * the latter makes it due to blocking value, Benson to ps, Mason & Smartt may be cut casualties ??
OT * Rashawn, Joe, Jamaree, Trey * unless you can get a fifth for Pips, no reason not to keep the latter two for depth
OG * Zion, open spot, McFadden * they could stick it out w/Pips, but the better move would be to spend the money, and in the interest of Herbo's well being
OC * Bozeman, Jaimes * might want an upgrade here, and might have to wait 'til next year for the such ??
3 spots too many.... extra QB, RB, WR, OT, or.... ??
NT * Poona, Hinton * does Christopher's Michigan pedigree keep him here for another season ??
DT * Ogbonnia, Matlock * does Scott have enough sand in his pants to play inside ??
DE * Fox, Egboigbe * think this is gonna be a strength w/these two guys
ED * Joey, Khalil, Bud, Tuli, Rumph * could see them keeping Chris for insurance and different fits ??
ILB * Denzel, Junior, Niemann * gonna be some good play coming outta the middle of the D here
OLB * Daiyan, Dye * lookin' good atm here
CB * Kristan, Asante, Tarheeb, Ja'Sir, Deane, Cam * could be some movement on the depth charth thru the end of the season here ??
S * Derwin, Alohi, AJ, Akeem * might keep JT on the ps, but dude has gotta add some girth to his game
is it between Rumph or Niemann for that last roster spot on D ??
ST * Cameron, Scott, Harris * fortunate that these are near givens, and w/little in questiion here atm
Joe has done some very unTelesco/team Tommy John things to the front 7 by adding a half dozen players there.... we should be improved there, 'specially if the three new CBs can hold their own/take care of their biz there....
he has also added two starters @RB, WR, TE and on the Oline.... stay tuned,DT Grant, Deone, Omarr, Cross, ED Mykel, Tuimoloau, Sawyer, OG Donovan, Savaiinaea, TE Oronde, Moliki Matavao, DB JaCobee

OT: sorry for the off topic question but did anyone see the Padre Kim HR called back as a double?
it hit the top of the fence, bounced backward into the outfielder glove and then bounced back out for the HR.
I think that should have stayed a HR because the outfielder never had possession of the ball and the ball didn't end up on the field (like a ground rule double)
If I'm wrong fine, but does anyone know for sure?
