I'd note only one of them were a Charger starter, only 2 were even on the team last year, so ... you go, BoltBeat! I'm still pulling for Q, riding that one into the ditch if I have to lol.

Not sure which rookie takes Poona's job as a run stuffing fire hydrant.

My 50% stay-true are almost all ex-football team mates. They know football inside-out and will always follow football.
In their minds, they might as well follow a team they've been following since childhood.
Having said that, none of us will buy tickets or any NFL merchandise... there is no feeding the beast.

My 50% pitchfork-and-fire friends are "protect-the-turf" types. It's unfathomable to recognize LA as their own.
Most of this stems from the LA-SD rivalry (that LA doesn't even recognize). It's the "little brother" syndrome.
They can't imagine supporting a team that was stolen away (again... Clippers) from them.
I remind them that every ticket they buy... every jersey they buy... the proceeds go directly to their new-found owner.
The same owner that voted to let the Chargers leave. I ask them, "How could you financially support that guy?"

Any argument pro/con Chargers is a ROI that yields few returns.
If they want to come back... fine. If they never come back... I totally understand. No judgements from me.

I miss when the city was ablaze with Chargers' swag any time they had a decent team.
It's definitely not the same any more.
yeah, its a drag for me. I watch most games alone now. my most hard-core former charger buds are the most hating now, like Dean slept with their girlfriend hating now ... like Dean ran over their dog hating ... like Dean ate the last slice of pepperoni hating. They are quick to post on SM any game the Chargers lose, with a Dean SMD type comment.

eh. I made amends with reality before the first game was played under their LAC banner. My daughter's new boyfriend likes the Chargers - he's prob too young to get the pre-post divide we have. but my daughter is mortified I'd invite him to watch a game lol ... oh god dad, please no!!!

LA never has given one shit about our rivalry, you're riht. thats actually soooo rude now that you mention it lol. bitches.
“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

6-4, 334 Clark comes to mind but I don't see Poona getting bumped.

That and BB doesn't list any starters.

Whoa where this guy come from? Clark is our largest defender at 330lbs. Read his bio and he was a former 230-lb Tight End?

I believe that Chad Krawiec is now our Analytics guy looking at this article.

              4. A decade for Krawiec in Baltimore

Krawiec also has a connection to Hortiz as he was with the Ravens organization since 2013.

He was a player personnel/analytics assistant for three years before being elevated to Manager, Player Evaluation and Analytics for the rest of his time with the Ravens.

Krawied also worked with Alexander in Baltimore.

              5. Stanley Cup champion

Krawiec grew up outside of Chicago and attended Loyola University Chicago for undergrad. He also earned his MBA from Notre Dame.

Krawiec interned for the Chicago Blackhawks in their hockey operations department when the team won the Stanley Cup for the 2009-10 season.

This is somebody's opinion. We can only hope he's correct.

Los Angeles Chargers Day 3 pick has great chance at starting as rookie (msn.com)

The Padres following, however, has benefitted from the move. Padres jerseys are everywhere.
Jackson Merrill is on fire BTW.

Hope you had fun @the fair. Fair food is the best!
It used to be a family tradition. The kids loved the livestock barns. I loved the bratwurst with onion/peppers.
I have had a soft, cushiony landing on all this.

Before the Padres went MLB, I was a Dodger fan.

The Charger move was stunning, up here in NorCal, but I can only imagine how troubling it is for San Diegans.

                  Padre injuries are so frustrating.

Can Merrill give us a lift ?

Do you think he's a 3-down interior DL though? I don't know about him as a run stopper. Then again, I don't know if any the current crop of IDL can stop the run, so why not Eboigbe?

They were the MLB team in SoCal (Angels were scubs back then.)

I have despised the Dodgers since 1969.

he was dominating at Bama.... he was always around the ball, stripping the ball, harrassing runners and QB's..... he is hard to block..... it will be interesting to see him in pre season....
