You love putting all arguments into the Titanic.

Thats ok. We just cannot jettison talent without trying to restructure and keep it. People here think top flight pass rushers are just laying around. Begging TT to come back and go dumpster diving for us again to find our pass rush.

Not going to happen, I like Tuli but he is not a number 1 pass rusher but people here think he will be. This team is not a 3 year rebuilding process, many of us think we will win next year. Just like a lot of posters here were rooting against getting Harbaugh and now are pretending to be happy we got him, they are trying to get him to tear the roster down to nothing to create a long rebuild instead of winning now. I am not sure why so many people are so adverse to winning and seem to be more happy when we lose (but have an amazing salary cap, as if that is the only thing that matters).

Per the Popper article, 27 free agents, 26 won’t be resigned.

      That’s half the roster. That’s a bloodletting.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz won't do that.

We should not be in a hurry to accept less than full value from any assets.

        $0.02
This - trading our two starting edge stars for a 3rd and 7th is 2024 surrender and Jim don't have surrender in his bones.

Very few players on the current roster will be here in 3 years. Probably less than 10.

Well that was Poppers opinion but if you look at the list - how many other players would be back. I quickly persused and thought maybe a handful at most. And that doesn't include some players signed to futures deals like Duggan

If you add in Linsley, Kendricks, probably Williams and Bosa - very close to 30

              and the roster needs it

It looks like any of our draft picks will be available for 2 picks for one pick trades. We need young players. Maybe even 10-11 draft picks.

Its not surrender unless they don't spend the money elsewhere (that and the fact that have to be compliant with the salary cap)

Bosa is not a star player. Guy has been hurt two years. Forget the name - on the back of the jersey and look at the health of the player - 14 games in two years. That is a player not worth $22m

idunno - look at the bottom half and most will barely recognize the names

Mack is better than any 3rd rd pick in the draft, Joey is better than any 7th rd pick in the draft. Both by a mile

Create two new holes, thats two other holes that can't be fixed

Maybe Bosa is a lost cause that we have to let go...We are going to have to use our first round pick on WR, DL, or CB to replace lost talent alone. Mack and KA are two year stop gaps so it's best we learn to play without Bosa anyways...it's sort of like Shawn Merriman and Seau...they can play but not up to snuff anymore...
Chiefs won the Superbowl with 10 Rookies....
