Bozeman is doing what was expected of him. He's an upgrade on Clapp and is marginally adequate. I'm not sure who or how but expect that he will be replaced in 2024-'25 off season. He is not a miss outside of pro bowl expectations.
Hurst has been a miss if it pleases PBs, but I doubt for Hortiz. Hurst was a roll of the dice and an opportunity to beat the odds. It was not like Hortiz was in position to take no chances. He's done a very good job IMO.

Hortiz does good work overall. We can all agree on that.

I dont know how we got here to critque his every move. That was never my intention.

My whole thing is the offensive line. if it is going to be the tip of the spear, the main focus, the team and some of you want to use every high pick on a lineman, then get it together and go out and get results on the field, dominate, dont get bullied, have no run game and have Herbert under constant pressure.

If the sacrifice to make is having the least skilled and most boring group of weapons and offense in the league to watch on Sundays to build the offensive line, then go out there and perform, make it worth it.

All the talk at the beginning of the season was how dominant our line would be, how it would be the strength of this team. Now its all excuses because we had no cap? Which is it?

Thats my last comment on it. Time to look forward and beat the next 3 weak opponents on our schedule.

I agree - just kind of jarring to be the very worst rated LB in the entire league.

Has he been? Im really not sure. Clapp last year's PFF was 56.7
What is Bozeman's so far? With my eyes, I haven't seen much difference so what do PFF say?

I think Hortiz has done a very good job but two misses along the OL/ TE hasn't been good for the offense.
I actually understood the Bozeman signing but didn't care for the Hurst signing.

At 55.4, Bozeman currently grades out worse than Clapp did last year. Ouch.

It makes JH's FA signing of Perryman a real smart move.

Bozeman is one the worst centers in the NFL this year. He was awful in Carolina last year. Not sure what was expected to be different.

How he is doing fine for some is bit puzzling to me.

With the Jets losing to a bad Pats team today, probably a good time to check if the price for MW dropped this week to get try to get him for cheap.

The Chargers earned this win today, there was nothing easy about that game, the Chargers had to claw for everything that they got, NO put up a solid fight in that game...
