Did the same for the Chargers this year - as the "Rooney Rule" in person candidate
Or the youg guy...Engstadt or something. He would be a first time OC right?

First time OC in the NFL. He called plays at USD and in the CFL.

Everything I read/heard is that Jay Harbaugh is a good coach. But I think regardless of how good he is, him not being on the staff is a good thing. It's hard to work with someone whose Dad is the boss and its hard on you when your dad is the boss. And I think this is better for Jay, too, as now he can grow and learn things from coaches he is not related to.

And Ficken staying is terrific news as he is a great ST coordinator.

So every year my wife takes me to the Grammys and last hear I met Robert Kraft and chatted briefly and got a picture with him.

This year he was there again and I sat down next to him and told him I'm a huge Chargers fan and asked his opinion of them hiring Harbaugh. He said you got a winner, excellent hire, you're going to be very happy. He also said that him and Dean Spanos are very good friends that he's one of his best friends of all the other owners.

Cool story! I read from someone (Peter King?) that Dean really is best friends with Kraft (but it was more like Dean follows Kraft around and idolizes him) and that Kraft told him stay away from BB.

Thanks for sharing your contact with him

Jim Harbaugh has sacrificed his son for the team. Is there any doubt that he will win or die trying?

This is about how KC shut down Lamar Jackson
But there is so much to take from it regarding how we should play defense (Raven's shut down KC 2nd half) vs KC.
                          how we should manage Herbert.
                          etc.
