Harbaugh's legacy: Immediate turn-around of troubled football programs

I think Harbaugh is the obvious selection. Whether he'll take the job, is another question.

I know the Bears are playing better under Eberflus, but I've got to think there are back channels open to Harbaugh there. If Jim is interested to return to the Bears, that would be a slam dunk.

I'm of the opinion, he won't take the Chargers job.

Of the other former Head Coaches: I like Flores and then Dan Quinn
Of the OC's: I am really coming around on Frank Smith. I know he doesn't call the plays in Miami, but he'd fix the Offensive Line, and he'd hire an OC to call the plays. I like him as a better pick than Ben Johnson or Bienemy.

I don't think they pick a DC with no HC experience... we just did that.

The thing about Harbaugh that I like...and watching that Alabama game just sealed it... they are just solid. Good lines. They pushed Alabama around. (Imagine if Bama doesn't get the advantage of the Special teams mistakes).

Michigan was NOT like that, for years. In fact, that's why Ohio State always beat them. They were better. They were stronger/deeper/better. That is no longer the case. Harbaugh has turned them into a juggernaut of a squad. It's impressive.

And it would be his first priority with the Chargers. Guarantee it. Now maybe they go flashy with Bowers or Nabers in Round 1 - but at some point, he would hire a very good OL coach and he would bring in better players that fit his style . He gets it

At this point it sounds like if the Raiders don’t hire Pierce as their HC, the players will be very upset.

Yes, and oddly enough there are some they say to go for him more than not say to just keep AP because the players love him. Adams and Crosby being the most vocal.

I am actually starting to believe Harbaugh is likely at this point. He reportedly loves Herbert and Harbert makes this by far the most atttractive HC position in the NFL that is available. We have reports the Spanos want him and want to shed their negative bumbling thrifty image.

We want him. We are very likely willing to pay him what it will take. He want's out of the NCAA. I put a lot of stock in the Raiders possibly keeping AP and that they are on the hook for a lot to Gruden and McDaniels. He wants the NFL. LA is attractive.
