the titans and the giants winning, I thought the stars were aligning for the #4 pick in the draft, but #5 is damn close and an improvement over the #6 pick where they've been slotted for a couple of weeks...

if you draft average players you will always be middle of the road never winning championships and never drafting elite game changing players.... great OT's, DL's, CB's QB's are taken high in first round.....
You can find great WR's, RB's, LBers....OG's....C's...Safeties..... after first round... although elite LBer/pass rushers are taken high

Not counting the fumbles, Stick put up decent numbers for the games he played in.
Full player stats for the 2024 Regular Season Los Angeles Chargers on ESPN. Includes team leaders in passing, rushing, tackles and interceptions.
He took a lot of flak from fans, but he didn't cost the future team any draft position.
I know the competitor always wants to win, but I'm happy with what he was able to do and accomplish, keeping most of the games close.
He threaded a very difficult needle, and for that I salute him.

There’s either a huge run on QBs 1-4 or we are sitting on our pick with one of the last blue chip QBs left on the board. Yes, we are taking calls and always willing to listen …
Does CHI stick with Fields? I’ve heard they may lean that way, I wouldn’t. Does AZ stick with Murray? Common rumor is they were taking MHJ but didn’t it feel all year they’d move on from him? idunno. WAS and NE both need QB. That gets us to our #5 pick. Picking after us - teams needing QB = NYG, ATL, Ten?, NYJ?, DEN, LVR
who offers a trade and what is it?

Trade down! Multiple picks!!
#5 pick in each round!
1. QB McCarthy or Nix Yes QB! (Look at how many teams got screwed NOT having their #1 this year.) Burrow went down They were done (even w/ Browning.)
2. OL (HELP!) + free agent Jon Runyan Jr (ex Michigan free agent). Bye Linsley. Jaimes played well. Re-sign Clapp. Several Michigan OL should be UDFA's (get em JH). OG/T Onwenu (ex Michigan, cheap)
2. RB Irving or Corum. Bye Ek, Kelly.
3. Edge (Stewart or Harrel from Michigan). Replace oft injured Bosa + salary cap. Uche (ex Michigan free agent, cheap)
3. CB Stud w/ speed. Bye #43.
4. WR Wilson from Michigan + Donovan People's Jones (ex Michigan cheap) + Keep WR Erickson (cheap, reliable). Bye $$ and injured MW.
We'd have Allen, Palmer, Wilson, DPJ, Erickson, Davis, QJ (Palmer/Allen hurt alot)
5. LB + Devin Bush (ex Michigan free agent, cheap). Henley, Devin Bush, Nieman, #5 pick/Amen, Derwin James (also nickle) as LBs. NB Sainstrill can play LB/NB here from Michigan.
6. RB Gore Jr, Edwards (Michigan), Georgia RB (Bowl gamer), Washington RB (Bowl gamer)
7. DT + Hurst (ex Michigan free agent, cheap). Ottito, Matlock are growing. Re-sgin Williams. Hinton (ex Michigan), Clark.
7. TE Awesome blocker behind Parham, Smart + get Everett or Henry type back cheap at $1.5 mil
Our TE's did well in this game. 8/10 101! Smart, Parham to continue to develop.
Each position covered in draft.
OR: Keep QB Stick. See what he can do behind a superior OL and RB and reunites w/ Pep Hamilton as an OC. Still, TRADE DOWN. JH likes to dominate the LOS. It will rest the D, take pressure off Herbert too.
1. OL Stud + Jon Runyan Jr + Onwenu (Ex Wolverine FA's)
2. OL Powers (Stud Center)
2. RB Irving/Corum
Same above:
3. Edge
3. CB
4. WR
5. LB/NB from Michigan Sainstrill
6. DT
7. RB
