Here is the thing - last year after the Jags loss - Lombo and Shane Day were fired. Scapegoats. Which was fine. But the offense was better than the defense. Staley should have found a REAL defensive coordinator to call plays to help the team as if there was another DC - that person would have been fired

Alas this year, Staley won't fire himself. Ego, hubris - whatever - and now they are 4-6

There you have it. It’s not Staley’s fault. It is the uniforms!

here is my last shred of optimism. They don’t want to run the team over to Moore this week and ruin their confidence in him against a dominant ravens team. They fire Staley tomorrow

If the Chargers lose they will officially be last in the AFCW. If that’s not enough for Staley to be fired on top of all the other defensive statistics that are historically bad. Spanos and Tolesco truly do not have what it takes to run a winning football team.

The biggest story about the Chargers is whether Staley should've been fired already. They don't talk about that.

It's nonetheless annoying, even though I know the Chargers haven't really earned coverage, like maybe an interview with Herbert... but yeah, just sucks there's nothing to talk about with the Chargers, other than their obvious issues.
