Well realistically the Bears and Raiders and Chargers will probably be the 3 jobs for Harbaugh to consider in 24! Bears will probably be the first choice, Davis will probably offer the most cheeder and the Chargers will offer the best QB to work with! That being said, if the Chargers don't win in the playoffs this year, Jeff Ireland as our new GM & Jim Harbaugh as our next HC could be incredible and the perfect combo to get us over the hump!!!

Harbaugh has experience with all three organizations. The Bears had a shot at Harbaugh but didn't seem interested when they hired Eberflus. It seems they don't think their general manager is a fit with Harbaugh.

That said, Harbaugh may want to work with Caleb Williams in Chicago over Justin Herbert in Los Angeles f the Bears get the first overall pick. He may want to go to any team that gets Caleb Williams.

QBs are such a crapshoot, though — even when people think they're a lock to be a star. See: Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance — even Bryce Young is looking like a bust candidate so far.

I blame Telesco though as in 11 years - his defenses have always been what they have been - pretty average. Some years better than others. But I cannot recall a defense like the Jets have. Big time pass rush, good tacklers, good DBs.

But to your point about Staley - you have a point. He has an idea of what he wants to play but not the right teacher of the system. Dumb it down I say - just do the ordinary at a high level.
