Bears will probably be the first choice, Davis will probably offer the most cheeder and the Chargers will offer the best QB to work with! That being said, if the Chargers don't win in the playoffs this year, Jeff Ireland as our new GM & Jim Harbaugh as our next HC could be incredible and the perfect combo to get us over the hump!!!
That said, Harbaugh may want to work with Caleb Williams in Chicago over Justin Herbert in Los Angeles f the Bears get the first overall pick. He may want to go to any team that gets Caleb Williams.

Now in his 36th NFL season and 26th with the Chargers, Ed McGuire has worked his way up the football operations staff with the Chargers since joining the team in 1998. Named Executive Vice President of Football Administration/Player Finance in January 201
This guy would be on my list if we made a change, which we're not because we're winning the superbowl.RG Mekhi Becton
LG Patrick Mekari (strike 1)
TE Mark Andrews
WR Cooper Kupp
FB Kyle Juszczyk

Fine, perhaps it is perhaps it isn't... IMHO it is and the facts back up that opinion.
We don't play the game for playoff projections jim... We don't play the game to just make the playoffs. We have 2 playoff wins and no AFCCG in 12 years.
We have NEVER won the AFCW under Tom Telesco. what!!!???

Herbert is a known commodity — a top-5 QB right now (top-3 with the right cast).
I think a coach would much rather work with that.Last edited by KrazyLegs; 10-09-2023, 06:05 AM.

He is top 5 QB at worst
just give him a defense worth a damn
Watching the Jets - -they built a defense
Sure wish Telesco had a clue about building a defense - he is an idiot

But to your point about Staley - you have a point. He has an idea of what he wants to play but not the right teacher of the system. Dumb it down I say - just do the ordinary at a high level.
