He can’t come back until after the Raider game. Popper reported he was working off to the side during last weeks practice - no report on how close he is though.

Dear offense fixers. Did you enjoy the mastery of the game today by Herbert? You saw it. You saw Mike Will score on setting that play up. Now, we don't know what the grades for the offense line were. Gonna have to wait for the scores to come out. Chargers drafted #1 WR for depth and it looks like we're gonna use that depth in Week 4.

QB. Offensive line. Skill position. Ekeler will be back soon for RB.

TE - Parham scored 2 TD and missed a key block on 4th down.

That pretty much covers today. #offense

Sad part is, when they failed to convert the 4th down (terrible coaching decision by Staley) I actually felt that we had a chance this time… due to the fact that the Vikings offense so far can’t close out games and finish any better than the Charger offense can.

I still feel like, running the ball on second down on that last drive… the offense wasn’t playing to win … with all of those stats, the defense had to win it because the offense still didn’t/couldn’t close

Yeah! They fixed the offense. The 2/14 3rd conversions was pathetic against the Titans. We should have won that game.

They needed to follow that up with a much better game and they did. I was happy to see Herbert actually move around a bit. I would even like to see just a little bit more scrambling and using his legs. The offense goes as Herbert goes. I'll still stick to my preseason comment Herbert will be in the running for MVP.

Offense is fine if they pass first and forget the run
running the ball puts them behind the chains in down and distance

Sign Fournette or trade for Taylor... The only thing wrong with this offense is our reliance on Ekeler for the run game. Kelley, Spiller, and Dotson are useless.

The Oline & Herbert played really good yesterday. But overall the offense was still lacking. It looked just like a Joe Lombardi game - the running game was 100% nonexistent. Herbert puts up big stats against these types of bottom defenses like Minnesota & the 'Fade which causes people to buy into the hype but we all know how this movie ends.

I'm actually feeling worse about the team after that win than I was before the game because I don't think they can play any better than they played yesterday on either side of the ball and they still needed a lucky end zone Int to take down a non-playoff Kirk Cousins led finesse team. Looks like the injury run has started & what happens here in a few weeks when we put a few more players on IR? The only thing this defense has going for it is that *for now* they can get a pass rush when they know you're gonna throw. But they can't stop the run, the secondary can't cover, can't tackle, and gives up big plays all over the field.

100% teardown & rebuild coming soon.

How about the defense just needs to elevate from shitty to mediocre to win?

This defense is coached by a so called “defensive genius” and its the highest paid in the league.

Blaming Herbert and foaming that he needs to carry this defense on his shoulders is stupid silly.
It doesn't matter how many points you score if you defense can't stop anyone from scoring.

How much better would Fournette be even with this Oline
now I do understand better running backs can hit the hole faster, read the play etc
But Fournette - with this blocking, I am not sure

But to this point, Spiller is not ready for the job to handle without Ekeler
