Now we know why he's been looking so good.

On a similar note, maybe there's another, non-financial reason Bozo hasn't signed.

Reminds me of Chip Banks - financially the Chargers complied but he refused to sign the deal, and a few months later we learned why.

Maybe we're being spared the next Ryan Leaf here.

That crossed my mind too. I'm not throwing out any conspiracy theories, but if what the Bolts said in their press release is true, it seems very strange that it was not accepted unless there is something else going on.

Apparently Bosa camp came down to about 94%. So 9% difference. Hope it was worth it.
            Prediction:
            Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

If I recall correctly, 2 got 96% up front and 4 got 66%, Bosa can ask for 95.9% if he wants to, but 85% should have done the trick and is good compromise. 85% is a real offer, the 58% was a joke as was the 100% Bosa insisted on.

The Chargers weren't serious on the 50-60%, as was stated before they were negotiating against themselves so walked away. Bosa's bottom line being reported at 94% which is absolutely ridiculous. He's already lost about $350k in interest on the $10M that was on the table in June.
Looks like CAA found a mug to push for new CBA. NFLPA will back him because they gave up too much power to Goodell in last CBA. We got/are getting played here and it's not by Spanos

Bozo is the one getting played here. There will always be a Chargers, but the clock is ticking on Bosa's career. Sit out a year and he loses so much. It can't be the money, I'm now thinking there are other factors in play here.

And for a completely different take, the Chargers are "bullying" Bosa...

The statement the Chargers released on their negotiations with Joey Bosa amounted to bullying, and it speaks to a hard line they had no reason to take.

350K in interest on 10MM in two months (lets assume no taxes)? Who's paying over 20% interest! Share!

Saw that, lol. I'm down to be bullied for an offer of 14MM this year and 3MM in March. SDFan and his words manifesto come to mind. Bullying.
