Why does someone filing a trademark infringement mean he is a tool?

He may win because technically they did use his registered trademark and they should cease and desist

As far as statutory damages the judge should cut it from 2 million to $2.00 and tell him "no one knows who the fu!% you are and the ones who do don't give a shit....."
Forget it Donny you're out of your element

        Shut the fuck up Donny

It might depend upon how long the Vermont Teddy Bear Company has been using this term. If they started using it prior to Merriman trademarking it, he may not be able to win this case. At least that's what a trademark lawyer told me when I was looking into trademarking something a few years ago.

I never considered Merriman a tool - just a badass San Diego Charger.

Defense is STILL trying to find a replacement for him and Jamal after almost a decade.

I'm not talking about his play. I'm talking about his sorry approach to life; from Tila Tequila to steroids, dithering around on his knee surgery, his 'acting career', WWE and lawsuits over a ludicrous 'brand.'

The only thing sorry there, if true, is if he beat his woman, but I don't know that that is true. The rest of it is fine by me.

With Philip Rivers on our team, we are not in need of perennial All Pros to replace Merriman and Williams. I'd settle for nearly average and mostly healthy. We could win with that.

If you don't protect your IP, you risk losing rights. I haven't read the merits of the case but just on the surface I see nothing wrong with this suit.
