Hard to fathom how a defensive minded coach and a defensive backs coach promoted to Defensive Coordinator could work together and still have one of the most pourus secondaries in the NFL with seemingly NO improvement week to week over three games. Ansley was the defensive backs coach and most likely not involved in making the actual defensive pass schemes! That was left to the DC. Now he’s the DC and hasn’t a clue. His was a BS inner office promotion having met certain office criteria, regardless. (IMO).Last edited by Caslon; 09-26-2023, 11:38 AM.

Disagree,
With talented vets, few coaches would want to depend on a talented but flawed rookie when starting the year out on the hot seat.
Chargers right now have a thin margin for errors, bad routes and key drops.

Excellent. Moore scouted him in 2021 and Cowboys drafted him 5th Round out of Stanford. He's familiar with Moore's playbook.
SECOND, and more important, he knows the Cowboys offensive install, and will share for advance scouting for Dallas game. Bitchin', dude.
