That's like saying we should draft a QB in round 6 because Tom Brady is the goat and he was a 6th round pick.

How many HOF QBs are from round 6?

Why do you think Reddick and Olsen would be good GMs? Do you have a basis or is this just a shot in the dark because Lynch has worked out?
Which was a long shot in the dark.

I'd rather another franchise take that chance than ours. We haven't been good at first time GMs and HCs. Why try it again?

At least our candidates are asst GMs

      Hmmm . . . . . . . not sure I'm willing to go that far !

And I'm only in my 5th decade - so I have plenty of time (to find a new team to root for)

Reddick has actually worked in front offices. Everybody brings up Philly. This guy worked in Philly Baltimore Detroit and Atlanta. Is a brilliant mind and always has great things to say. I would look at Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jerimah to.

We will NOT get the kind of talent we need at GM if they know they'll be under Johnny's thumb / direction. No experienced, quality General Manager will put his personal reputation on the line in a situation like this.

          Dean's choices are;
          1. Another yes man like TT, or
          2. Get Johnny out of the decision loop
Yep...and hopefully Deano is finally tired of #1...my guess is Deano quietly clips JohnBoy's wings a bit, lets him stay as a figurehead President, but tells him the new GM will have the final say on all draft and personnel decisions...

John Spanos could salvage his legacy by voluntarily stepping down at any moment.

Believe it or not, the Chargers aren’t officially eliminated from the playoffs. They can win the division and be the #4 seed if the following happens

                        patriots beat the chiefs

                        chargers beat the bills
                        patriots beat broncos
                        raiders beat chiefs

                        chargers beat broncos
                        bengals beat chiefs

                        broncos beat raiders
                        chargers beat chiefs

It’s as simple as that 😏
