Thus far, overall, I think Herbert was doing better when Lombardi was OC, tho that’s not saying much.

Well everyone should follow this Bolt podcast as Kevin Duggin is my buddy. His father was a football coach in San Diego.

Lombo was fine when we had Guyton to stretch the field creating space underneath and Herbert was fully healthy. People forget
Herbert had his best year by far under Lombo.

It all went to shit last year when our O line got injured, Guyton out, Allen and Williams missing games and Herbert hurt. The result:
check downs to Ekeler, which was the right calls for what we were going through. The problem: Lombo is not a innovative guy in
the mold of Shanahan. He stuck to his system which really limited our O. He did manage to get us to the POs though.

I think Moore is an upgrade over Lombo, but do think people ignored the stuff you listed with the criticism Lombo got last year.

            Something to build on.
            Left side run blocking.
Maybe we do play modern football.

              More Duke.
We have to check these great IDL's with Power/Inside Zone runs.
Saying "Zion sucks" does not pay the bills.

Football talk....a novelty around here...thank you, sir. Zion is made of good clay, but needs a little more shaping. Him and Salyer, 1st and 6ths? The sum of the parts is astounding...a great haul!
                Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

All the talk about Chargering......but Chargers also were 1st team to start 0-4 and go to playoffs. So....you know......I'm thinking the key to good Chargering is resiliency. Who cares what or how anything happened... Bolt the f up. I don't give a damn that we are 0-2 or even go to 0-3. I'm all in.
Who has it better than us?

I'm not trading anyone unless were 0-6 and Herbert is out for the season.

0-2 is less damaging in a 17 game season, but it ain't great either!!

Fire sale doesn't seem to be the Spanos way - just don't see it happening and especially with the big contract players being discussed.

If the team is 0-4 and the defense is bottom 3 - -let the fire sale begin.

Certain players are not worth to keep around if they are not performing to their contracts. And I say that because if the defense doesn't improve quickly, how can you think it ever will.
