I differ. It's Spanos years-long deflection of accountability finally getting to Popper. This organization has an accountability problem.

Tyler, it was Popper that was tactfully imploring people to give this squad a chance last season. Really asking people to take a closer look at this squad. I remember when he stated he had no loyalty to the club, he was genuine in how he did it. Now, after listening to Staley after four straight losses, it is no longer genuine due to the time + place of when he asked for accountability of any sort from the organization, and he's the bad guy? I say that as just another asshole on a couch in Los Angeles and not a member of Charger media.

Wouldn't exactly say every Charger fan is bent, Wu. Would be more fair to say most Charger fans are sick of this fraud coach masquerading as a defensive "genius". The sooner he goes, the better, and if Popper can help accelerate this process, more power to him. At this point. I don't even care who they replace him with, it's time for a big change, hopefully a competent change. Fans are just getting burned out on the entire Chargers mess, not just Staley. If you think supporting Staley is in the best interest of this team, keep at it, you may be right, no one really knows the future. Just because we are all fans doesn't mean we all have to agree. Popper and Staley provide excellent and specific answers about our failures thus far in 2023 to prevent backbreaking big plays.

In Cover 6, and especially vs teams with alpha RBs, one CB has to be left unprotected, one-on-one.

Vato, JJ and Zont, our top three CBs have each been beaten deep this way.

Better technique.

Treat each player according to their mindset.
K9 needs consideration, confidence building from Staley.
