The DC has not changed. Staley is still calling plays. But maybe with Ansley as the new DC - Staley will give some of that over to him

I think the DC comes up with the game plan and Staley calls play for that, but how they do it im not really sure. I do believe that is what Bieniemy did for Reid and Reid called plays from that. But.......who knows.

I just hope we see improvement.

Most likely a combination of talent and scheme. But it seems to have been a pattern over the last 10+ years - defense cannot get the hell off the damn field. Even if they eventually do not allow points - sometimes the other offense gets a couple first downs and flips field position using clock.
