8 games of the schedule - the team will be the team by that time. Hoping for 5-3 or better!
The TN game would be a nice one to win if we want to get this train back on the tracks. To me it's a pivotal game that needs good results. 35-21 bolts, we will be on "real" turf.

So, if this thing goes sideways and the Chargers are like a 2 or 3 win team at the deadline - they should try to trade all four plus Ekeler to get value back. Releasing players doesn't get you anything back. Ekeler is a little different - but they can pay his salary and possibly get back a higher pick than figuring out that comp pick stuff.

Now the teams trading for them would have to worry about injury and next years contract. But in some cases, maybe they jsut want the player for the stretch and playoffs for this year.
I can't believe we're already talking about trading players for draft capital before the deadline...I thought I was the pessimist here because I wanted Staley gone after Jacksonville...I got chewed out for saying that Staley was a lame duck coach in 2023 and that it would be a wasted year...but the time for making moves has passed, it's time to focus on making the best of this season...

F2h, there's plenty of chewing where that came from.
Maybe we do play modern football.

Players don't rise to the occasion, they fall back on their training.

You know what I was thinking, when McDaniel had Hill in motion in the middle of the field, even streaking down the sideline maybe they were worried about a footing issue because of artificial turf. After all, they like TN are real grass. Moore needs to develop the same mind set Kenan and DD, Guyton if he comes back, when we play at home on our artifical turf. The same when waddle was in motion.. we probably had footing issues and got beat because of it. Bosa had footing issues Just a thought.

I belive we are a better team on grass. Time will tell...

I remain convinced Tua will ultimately fail.

Vs LAC there were underthrows and dropped picks.

Has the football world forgotten ?

As an added bonus, Tua will not be facing Kenneth Murray in coverage vs NE.

He will be facing a well coached, instinctive Pats group.

              We shall see what happens.

Too be honest, I don't think Tua is capable of playing an entire season. He will be injured at some point. It almost seems inevitable.

It's also possible that nine games out ten the Chargers beat the Dolphins and Sunday's game was that one game out of ten.

We have spent a ton on recovering players who may never regain their previous glory. Rotate the players in and let's develop some depth. No passes any more for oft injured players. If your healthy you get more playing time.

are we comparing a Staley coached defense to a Belichick coached defense? it's like comparing a pile of shit to a pile of chocolate ice cream because they are both brown...

I am only pointing to Tua's schedule.

Our defense is diametrically opposite NE, starting with having some high priced "impact" players vs a whole defense of cheaper role players.

                          I'd start with the coaches.
