He’s still holding out. Report he liked a tweet saying he won’t be a Chief next year. If I never saw that guy wearing a helmet with an arrow on it, it wouldn’t be too soon. He is as good as there is.
Yep . . . . . . . . but I highly doubt that KC will let him get away. Let's hope they break the bank for him - and then he's hurt all year (Bosa like). See how they like it . . . . . . . . . . .

Come on DMAC, it's up to us to figure out a way to fit him under our 50 million dollar over, 2024 cap.
Herbert got pile driven into the ground by Chris Jones. Should have been a penalty, and would have if one of our guys did that to Mahomes. I might be a good idea to block that guy this year . . . . . . . . .
I'm a fan of 1-2 plays per game that are designed specifically to capitalize on Herb's legs.
If the Bolts do that, even on such a limited basis, it will force defenses to allocate resources to limit the damage Herb can do running, and-- in the allocation of those resources-- the defense inevitably leaves something else LESS covered, and there just waiting to be taken advantage of.
IMO, it's dumb *not* to force defenses to have to account for Herb's ability to hoof it.
^ This...opposing teams will have to GAME PLAN for those Herbie designed scrambles...use them on key 3rd downs instead of lame gadget plays...

Oh yeah !
And Herb is deadly accurate when he throws on the move.
Yes, it was Mike Danna. Danna was the Chief who lost contain on Herbert when Herbert scored his first NFL TD against the Chiefs in Week 2 of 2020. Like Herbert, Danna was a rookie and playing in only his 2nd game. He hit Herbert in the end zone and knocked Justin over. He should've been penalized then too probably but wasn't.
At the NFL Combine, Chris Jones showed he is the full package,
Editor's note: A broken jockstrap is no joke.
What hurts Wu-dai is that Chris Jones and Patrick Mahomes were one of my very few draft day crushes, ever.
Rivers being another one.
And then K.C. picks them both up ... oy veh!
I also had a draft day crush on Jacob Eason: that didn't quite work out.
I would have passed up on Herbert (going with Jedrik Wills) and chosen Eason earlier than the 4rth.

Danna probably collected a bounty for it from the Chief's coaching staff.
