Oh, let's hope not. That's a redux of Marlon McCree's Chargers losing in the Divisional round to the Patriots.

That was the final nail. There were several other botched plays that could have secured a win if done properly.
The game was too big for many of the players.

In what way? We were dominant through reg season. All the team had to do was keep doing what they had been doing in the 14 Ws and move on.
But some individuals tried to do more. It wasn't everybody, just some guys got the yips.
More LT was always good but young Rivers didn't lose. There was a dropped basket catch, tipped ball int in front of the goal. A dropped punt turnover, a D stop turned over by a dumb penalty, McGee's int / fumble and some others no doubt.

            I know. I was there.

            McCree.

            Erik Parker (dropping a punt).

Shane Olivea (Personal Foul on a PAT ---> Chargers kicking off from their 20, and the Patriots getting excellent field position).

Vincent Jackson (kicking a referee's flag ---> unsportsmanlike conduct.)

It was a lot like the Chargers losing a 27 point lead to the Jags in the playoffs, compiling fuckups until the game was lost.

The 3rd and inches jet sweep to a little used player that wasn't expecting the ball, near the end of the 1rst half.
They should fire Lombo again just for that one.

We had no offense vs Jax. 28 -0 was D takeaway set ups. LT and Rivers moved the ball vs NE.

They only scored 21 points. If they had scored 30, the discussion would be who’s turn is it to shine the trophy. Not enough offense there from where I’m sitting.

What I MEANT was, each of those games had the same dynamic of slipping ever-so-incrementally from the Bolts' grasp. You could FEEL it happening.

What? Hire Lombo again, for the pleasure of FIRING him again? Almost sounds like the old LA Rams owner Dan Reeves...he fired HC George Allen, then later on hired him again...and then FIRED him again...

The Vincent Jackson flag kick was in the loss to the Jets
