That's awesome, Roo! I just watched a Youtube of that game. Keith Lincoln went off!
Being curious, I also looked up the 1963 NFL Championship game (Bears vs. Giants)
To me, it looked like the better team was the Chargers. What are your thoughts?
Mythical Monsters of the Midway vs. Bambi and the Boys...
I think the Chargers had a better offense and an equal defense to the Bears. The Chargers would have won. Sid Gilman challenged the Bears to play and Papa Bear declined.

Yeah, that was my sense (from limited film).
Lincoln and Lowe were quick and fast. The offense was quick at hitting the holes... and the 2-back formations would/should have frozen those Bears' LB's.
The Bears' offense looked slow and predictable. Papa Bear was wise.
Lincoln/Lowe dominated so entirely in that 1963 Championship game... Lance Alworth barely featured.

The Pats used a blitz defense all season. Gilman devised those quick pitches to Lincoln and Lowe and the Pats didn't have an answer. Lowe was extremely fast but Lincoln had the best day of his life. It helped the offense that the Pats couldn't run. That was a fun day in my life. We went bowling after dinner(we were in a Sunday night league) and I had a hot hand. Those were good days and this was one of the best.

Top 5 O
Top 15 D yards, Top 10 Points allowed
Top 12 ST - we don’t have a top 10 punter, let’s be honest. DD has to step it up to get us T12
Sum = Top 6 Wins
I expect many teams will gather meaningless garbage time yards trying to catch up to our insurmountable leads, hence yards allowed will be artificially inflated.
It we recall and dive into the details of Rivera’s “great” defense in yards allowed, the converse happened - a lot of teams did not need a lot of yards because
a- teams scored points on our historic-worst ST (no offensive yards)
b- teams got very short fields from our historic-worst ST (less yards)
c- teams seldom needed to travel the length of field to catch up (less yards)
I still contend that while his defense was good, it was not as good as the official D rating he was credited for. #1 in yards, #10 in points. You could see it on the field. He got his HC gig from it though, and good for him.
All that matters to me is points differential - score more and win. Go to dinner happy.
