On the next play, the defense won the drive. Herbert took the snap, and Khalil Mack had one of his best rushes of camp, driving left tackle Rashawn Slater into the backfield with a fierce bull rush.


I keep reading good things about Bosa and Mack. On the flip side, that means the OTs are not doing well.

I think Slater has demonstrated that he's an adequate LT.

If Bosa/Mack are eating his lunch, I see only good in it.

I wonder what happened to help K9 up his game...did Staley simplify Murray's assignments? Or did it just take this long for him to get coached up? Of course, all these glowing reports of K9's TC mean nothing until we actually see his game film this upcoming season...

you may not like it but that doesn’t mean it’s unreal. There’s a guy on the board whose entire mantra has been “year of the flip”. What do you think that’s about? Flipping from 10-7 to 7-10??? No, it’s just another way of the old “revere the curse”

Here’s hoping Murray has a breakout year. He has been pretty much a washout after a decent rookie season. But he is still a good guy, from a good family and is mucho physically talented. He could be sulking about his non-picked up 5th year option, but he ain’t. And apparently he is playing hard in camp.
