Well the fact Pitt did that and we didn't give him a shot at RT....tells me there is more to it that we don't know. Gotta trust the coaches on 2 different teams here.
And I'm not bagging on him. We got a cheaper replacement.

Also only beach is the one here who wanted to keep him. Everyone else saw cap savings and wanted him cut. Nobody is calling that a mistake.

yet I’m convinced had pipkins signed elswhere fieler would be getting ready to move to RT as we speak…them moving johnson to LG is proof that move would’ve finally happened with salyer going to RG…they could’ve cut fieler any time they wanted but they didn’t until pipkins was re-signed…

Not at all....they could easily have planned on Salyer being penciled in at RT, and waited on Feiler til after the draft...potentially still cutting him. He was never going to RT, or he would have been used there a long time ago.

You could be right on that. But clearly they valued Pipkins more. And why not play him there instead of Storm Norton in 2021 if they had a thought of him at RT?

You could be right on that. But clearly they valued Pipkins more. And why not play him there instead of Storm Norton in 2021 if they had a thought of him at RT?

No offense to Storm Norton personally, but if the O-line group can be upgraded enough that Norton is cut, that will be a good thing.

In 2022, it was difficult to identify any but the rarest snap where he wasn't over-matched by his opponent. He was the team's weakest link any time he was in the game.

They didn’t need to cut norton, they could’ve tendered him as he was an RFA but they let that expire after March 15th and he became a full on free agent, he’s already been picked up by the saints…

Zero is most definitely a number, but why not double 00 if they allowed 0, but you bring up good point, I’m all for letting players use actual none number symbols like # $ & …or perhaps letters from the greek alphabet would be cool, how many guys would want to be cool symbols like theta or omega?
