The contract size and length tells me OT or OG/C is still on the menu early…and THAT’s how you build depth! It’s the one reason I couldn’t agree with boltnut’s plan of letting trey walk…

OL can play a whole game if they stay on the field. DL depth is more important IMO.

I see OL depth happening in FA and third day of the draft.

Spending a higher draft pick on an OL, only to have him sit behind the starter, is a waste of money.

No, he didn't run at the combine due to a surgery he had but measured in at 6'4", 246 lbs.
Scheduled to run at his proday whatever day that is.

He is 23, turns 24 in Oct. Kelce is 33 so we can get 10 years out of him.

David Montgomery gets 18 over 3 from the Lions. Sounds about right for Ekeler? so don't overpay.

Montgomery isn't as good as Ekeler. He gets more carries because he is 224 lbs but Ek is a more explosive player.
Montgomery career 3.9 YPC
Ekeler career 4.6 YPC
For the record, I wouldn't pay Ek 12 mil either. But if he can get a team to pay him 9 mil, great. It just won't be us.

McCaffrey is making 12 mil a year and I wouldn't pay him either. Imo he isn't better than Ekeler
