I think trading for another veteran WR is absolutely on the table. As of tomorrow, the front office has 15 days to act on this issue. Bears watching.
we passed on AJ Brown for Jerry Tillery.... we traded for Khalil Mack in lieu of drafting George Pickens.

we signed Travis Benjamin in FA in lieu of a RT, Bobby Massie or the like.... we drafted MW over Ryan Ramczyk, and Mahomie.

you know the team Tommy John track record of late for drafting players in the 20s come the first round.

your stance is that Keenan got injured last season, and so.... end of story, you're not talking 'bout anything else but moving on from him, and....

Charlie Joiner played 'til he was 39, and he wasn't puttin' up goose eggs either.

and what is the 30 year old Mason Dixon line for RBs, is not until 35 years old for most receivers, as mentioned before that plenty of name receivers have had some of their best years in their early 30s.

you can take the field.... you can have your pick of the litter from anyone coming out in this year's draft, in fact I'll give you 5 to 1 odds.... you can pick a handful of 'em, as will be very surprised if any of 'em even come close to Keenan in the next three years, thru 2025.

the odds are that Keenan is going to continue to have 100 receptions and 1k yards/year, rather than otherwise over the next coupla few years.

we can go back to drafting strategy for needs that got us MW, and Travis Benjamin in FA, or we can continue as we have of late and draft linemen....

and vet receivers.... we opted to overpay for MW, compounding our decison to overdraft him, and while there were vet receivers available in FA by way of JuJu Schuster and Chris Godwin, not to mention we prolly woulda had monies left over for a complementary RB and TE to boot.

still think holding onto Bosa is the much more risky proposition, than moving on from the likes of Keenan, Mack or otherwise.... (can we do something w/JC Jack ?)

Charlie Joiner would shit himself happy if he could earn half of what KA would be earning this upcoming season. Joiner's net worth is around $3 million dollars currently.

We really didn’t trade Jerry Tillary for AJ Brown?

I haven't heard anything about Jalen Guyton. Is he under contract still? Rehabbing good? Also JC Jackson. Is he going to be back?

Jalen Guyton is a free agent. No word on his re-hab that I know about.
JCJ's patellar-rupture is usually an injury that players have a hard time coming back from. When they do... they usually aren't the same.

TT mentioned on the Pat Mcafee show today that the 3rd-and-long defense was a concern all year long.
He also mentioned that not being able to convert 3rd downs on offense (particularly running the ball) was a concern...

TT looked rather sheepish when Mcafee suggested that TT might be looking for a slot corner in the draft...

Big back running back just released Leonard Fourenette do we pick him up for Goal line back? Maybe he’s motivated he’s alot better when he’s in shape.

L.A. guy who’s on the street Michael Thomas if he checks out ready to play. Is that the goal line target Justin Herbert could use? What would it be at this point? 3rd round pick?

Thomas has played 10 games the last 3 seasons. 3 games the last 2 seasons.

Per Telesco on McAfee Show yesterday....

He points out that KVN and Callahan were signed post draft last year. Look for Coupon Tom again in '23.

Tom's Catholic-he does not lie-famously says he'd rather have players than cap space.

                    IDK...injury settlements ? Something's got to give.

Help me out here...FA begins March 15th...but can we negotiate/sign our own impending FAs before then? I mean, they arent free til March 15, it would basically be an extension, and that happens all the time. So Im surprised we have not heard ANYTHING about a single one of our players who are up...am I missing something here?
                        Adopted Bolt: Scott Matlock

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

I am actually good with coupon Tom this offseason - he did a better job last year with the cheaper players

I am still not buying his comment about players than comment space entirely. I understand the concept that if you have the cap space - you want to keep the talent. The problem is - the Chargers are not at say 15m of space where they could sign draft picks, maybe Pip and Tranq and roll with it. The Chargers are 20m under - so they need to find 35-40m of cap space to sign a few players like Pip or Tranq , the draft picks and the practice squad

That means either releasing, trading, restructuring or pay cuts.
