Film Study: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (week18 vs DEN)

    Welcome back diehards
Our week 18 matchup was filled with highs and lows. We got to see some new formations, very well executed plays, superb athletic ability and also some mental errors and missed assignments. Yes having this type of loss hurts and losing MDub is salt in the wound.
I apologise for this being a little late this week, but i got a nice surprise for my fellow diehards...

    The Good:
2nd quarter 12:29 on the clock, 3rd and 2 ball on 9yrd line
This is the tough running red zone offense we need heading into the playoffs. I like the new 3x TE formation and this clip shows there is even room for improvement.

    The Bad:
2nd quarter 6:22 on the clock, 1st and 10 ball on 48 yard line.
Bad blocking technique combined with DEN safety reading the play well and causing the fumble.

    The Ugly:
2nd quarter 0:19 on the clock, 1st and 10 ball on 40yrd line
Man oh man. This play is ugly. Chargers leading 17-10 and give up this bomb to allow DEN inside the 5yrd line and score on the next play. Gillman mental error in slowing on the route. Van Noy error in losing edge contain.

    Honorable Mentions:

    hon1
    great 3rd down defense

    hon2
    Bosa pressure and Derwin defends

    Bonus content:

The big topic of the week. MDub's injury:
2nd quarter 2:43 on the clock.
Watch Trey Pipkins fall on the pile at plays end. I dont blame Trey he is giving his all and playing outstanding. Just a freak accident.

So there we have it diehards. Week 18 done and next we soar into the playoffs. Staley can use this flat performance as a wake up call to educate the players how easy it is to lose in NFL. The focus should be laser sharp for Jags. I cannot wait!!!!

P.S. would love any and all feedback (both good and bad) with regards to voice. I want to improve

    As always love ya

    Nice Job.

After reviewing the film, what is your take on the interior D, especially as the game went on?

I think Fehoko had more snaps than usual and Moa saw the field quite a bit.

i could see Fehoko getting tired. Moa didnt do anyhting wrong and was adequate which was great experience for him and now we know he can handle NFL speed. I would look for both on the line in goaline stands or short down stops. Neither of them get moved by just 1 dude

Edit: Add in SJD showing some wear and tear
