Very true! But clearly we will have to play much better 3 weeks from now...... so now we essentially have 2 meaningless games left...... how do we use them? who do we rest..., Ekler, James, MW, Mack? Do we just play them some of the games? Do we add more aggressive plays and test them on the rams and donkeys defenses???

I think our run D is under rated.
I think a lot of the reasons why teams don't just continue to run on us is because we have a knack for penetrating the backfield well on early downs and stopping run plays at the LOS. Opposing offenses would be risking a lot if they're not able to convert in the air.

Chargers can still get the #5 seed to play the #4 seed. Why not go for it? Play the starters until it's obvious of what seed they are assured of. The offense still needs the practice.

Defense has been much better since. Jerry routinely washed himself out of the play and was on the ground on run downs doing dumb ass spin moves for no reason.

I was watching a replay of the James pick.... Murray was in "coverage" and was grabbing and hanging on to the receivers jersey the entire route(staley he cannot cover!).......some days we get screwed by refs, today they were nice to us.... lol

Since Keenan has been back in the lineup, in those 6 games he has 47 receptions for 513 yards. You think Herbert missed having him?

Anyone still think he is getting too old and we should trade him? All the time he missed he still has 53 catches for 590.

MW missed some games and came back early to catch 1 pass and miss the rest of that game with the high ankle sprain.

Since his return from that game, in those 3 games he has 14 catches for 256 yards for a 18.2 YPC. Had the clutch catch last week. Did Herbert miss him too? On the season he has 52 for 769, 14.8 YPC, TDs. Played in 11 games, one game he played the one offensive series.

Wonder what Bandy and Moore have done in that time? Not even going to look. They aren't worthy of roster spots.

Palmer picked up the slack and has 68 catches for 730 yards on the season, 10.7 YPC. Pretty good sophomore season so far.

Herbert doing all he is doing with fucked up ribs most of the season.

Even if slater returns it’s not going to change the way lombo is calling plays and just the design of the plays we’re running is so chicken shit, he doesn’t know how to get running efficiency from good backs and decent O-line…if lombo had All-pros at every position he would still suck…
