    Philip Rivers passes on the Pro Bowl, stating personal reasons. He was the 4th alternate.

      Tyrod Taylor named to Pro Bowl,.....which now means being named a probowler is officially meaningless.

              Probowl = Joke.

              It used to sort of mean something. Now, it is just a clown show. Letting fans vote based on popularity and not player skill, having morons like Michael Irvin pick players, playing the game prior to the superbowl which results in 7th alternates playing. I have no interest in it at all.

                As long as the Pro Bowl makes money for the NFL and TV, its going to be played. Also, since many contracts have incentive clauses for making the game, the players will still want it. To kill the game, it will take a huge loss in TV ratings, and for the players to completely opt out.
