Today was the day Lombardi abandoned the run entirely.

This is a flawed team with an incredible quarterback. We are fortunate to have him.

Carter has been a revelation as a receiver, especially given the Chargers' injuries.

Murray actually made some plays today. Popper said that last game was his best to date, I think. Maybe he's finally coming on. Letting White go gave the Chargers a chance to see if Murray could make it as a starter.

It isn't easy being a Chargers fan.

Chargers OL and DL is super thin with attrition.
On 3rd.kicker but Special teams has been great all year.
They are 1 of the least penalized teams in NFL.
These are not your typical Chargers.
These guys can handle all the smoke.

If we beat all the remaining crappy teams, we would be 10-7, which hopefully will be enough to get into the playoffs this year. Though I hope that we can at least split against the Titans and Dolphins. Games like today remind me how easily we can lose to anyone.

I totally agreed with the move to go for the 2 point PAT, and the lead instead of the guaranteed tie and OT. It's what they should have done it in the final game of last season vs. the Raiders, but that's another matter.

The Chargers positioned themselves to take the lead here-- not settle for the tie-- and they did it. It made less sense, IMO, to take the easy TIE, go to OT and give the Cardinals another opportunity to score against a porous Charger defense.

They seized an opportunity and got a win for their troubles. I'll take it.

I was looking at the standings - already scoreboard watching. NE has the Bills; Cincy has the Chiefs.; Jets are at Minnesota - didnt look at the rest

Ravens and Bengals now tied

Hope springs - thats what today did - keeps hope alive.

Chargers actually match up better against the Titans than Dolphins - just from the fact Titans aren't going to blow you out - but all in good time

The Chargers are 6-5, same record as the Patriots, who play the Bills on Thursday. The Chargers will move up to the #8 seed if the Patriots lose.

The Jets are currently the #7 seed. They beat the Bears today. But they have @Vikings, @Bills, @Seahawks, @Dolphins in their final six games.

The Patriots, after hosting the Bills this Thurs, will still have @Cards, v Bengals, v Dolphins, @Bills in their final five games.

The Chargers just have to continue to win, the rest will take care of itself. Onto Las Vegans for the win. Mike Williams will play.

Crap the Raiders won in grand fashion with an 86 yard run to end OT. Their record sucks but they have nothing to lose and would love to beat us in Vegas.
