People are complaining about being 5-3 and saying "should have, "would have" and "could have", but that is huge in a division that will probably come down to the wire. KC is a good team, but they are not as dominant as they were in past seasons and they are playing the 5-2 jags today.

With these injuries, the goal is to get in the playoffs anyway possible.

      spiller looked good.

on defense, nice sacks by Drue and Derwin and huge play by Mack that probably saved a TD.

we gutted it out. Herbert looks healthy. Get Keenan and MW back, add Spiller in and keep it moving
I disagree. I think he's still hampered. Looks like he's throwing 3/4 much of the time, favoring his torso. Still getting balls batted down. He hasn't had a 300-yard game in the last 6. Not typical Herbie.

Agree. It's absolutely reasonable to think that he'd have been given an opportunity earlier if (1) he was showing anything in practice, and/or (2) there weren't some kind of 'disciplinary issue'.

But that's just speculation, and we don't actually know anything.

Hasn't he been injured most of the year?

Homerism is a cure for clear vision.

Anyone who thinks Staley is a good HC has a bad case of homerism.

Banged up a knee in the pre-season. As I understand it, he's been a full participant in practices for weeks.

We're not even in KC's league right now. Today's win was typical for the entire year: Uninspiring, lackluster performance against a mediocre, at best, opponent. The only thing this win does is help Staley and Telesco save their jobs. Does ANYBODY want that?

Yes, that's why I skipped this thread. Tired of the whining over every little thing.

Hey we won after being down 10-0 after 2 drives. Good defensive adjustments and only giving up 7 the last 3 quarters.

Run defense is still shit, need to fix that and fast.

Offense did just enough and glad to see Spiller get some carries and looked pretty good, always going forward and picking up blockers. He can catch so not sure why he needs to go off on those situations but we have Ekeler and I'm sure he will get his chances in time.
We sorely miss our playmakers though Palmer did a good job today.

Hope Pip isn't injured too much on top of his MCL he already has and won't miss time.

Anyone who grades the 5-3 sophomore HC with the current state of this roster as a bad HC either has never coached before or is more biased with their narrative than my homerism fanaticism is....... There is a middle ground here.....which should be wait and see what happens .....it is only halfway through year 2.....
