ESPN has the Bronco's scoring defense ranked tied for 4th in the NFL

This stat is skewed by the fact the Bronco's offense, as you noted, is horribly bad. When your offense can't score, the other team doesn't have to score very much against you, and it makes your defense look better than it is in the state line.

ESPN has the Bronco's passing defense ranked 1st in the NFL.

Same as above. When the other team doesn't have to score a lot to beat you, they aren't going to pass as much, and, again, it makes your pass defense look better in the stat line than it actually is.

ESPN has the Bronco's rushing defense ranked 15th in the NFL

This supports what I say above. The Broncos' pass defense looks good in the stat line because opposing offense don't need to throw the ball much, because they can run on the Broncos and they don't have to score a lot of points against the Broncos because the Broncos' offense is so bad.

sorry, but I’m convinced Chargers lose big tonight. The overly maligned Wilson, Gordon the fumbler, and HC turn it around tonight.

Browns got SMASHED by Patriots yesterday. The same team we barely beat.

it’s a typical scenario for the Chargers….all it takes is a win against a lousy team to ascend the top spot in the division and they crap the bed.

Tomorrow, fans will be foaming for Staley and Lombardi’s scalp.

I am of the mind that a rewatching of last week's game, is in-order. Russ has a torn lat and could neither complete a pass nor would he escape downfield with his legs. That was his game. It is going to take more than 10 days to fix Hackett's offense. His receivers were rounding off their routes....it's systemic and Hackett could face a shorter stint at HC than Vance Joseph (new ownership).

The Broncos are dead last in scoring, averaging 15 pts per game. That's worse than the Bears, Commanders, Steelers, Texans or Panthers. If Staley, the defensive wonder boy, can't devise a game plan that stymies the Broncos' offense, he shouldn't be a head coach.

I called it back on page 3, not that linsley would be out but that we had to elevate another O-lineman from the PS…Linsley being out is a big concern…now their interior linemen might keep us from running and herb might not have room to step up in the pocket…linsley out is a fucked up development and to some random illness? He’s got like the flu or something?

the bandy call up means he’ll be on the 53 man roster going forward, we’re going to see moore get sent back to the PS tomorrow or they’ll cut rodgers the TE and send him down considering that the TE room is getting healthier and the WR still has a lot of issues between KA and palmer being all banged up…
