For whoever defends our Chargers because we "won", GTFO. This was absolutely the worst coaching decision I've seen by our team in years and years and years.

100% agree and let's be honest Staley just lost about everyone here.. Big road win (Should be excited) and personally I feel sick it was that bad...

I will say it again. When trying to run out the clock, the team needs to get first downs, not run the ball when the other team is waiting for the run. The last offensive series (before the kneel down) was blown on the first down running call. Just play action pass on first down and throw for a first down and then we win and it never gets to the idiotic 4th down call.

So they will go for it on 4th down deep in their own end with CLE already just about in FG range, but they will not let Herbert throw on first down--utterly idiotic!!!

These are the kinds of "wins" that aren't, really. So many mistakes; so many bad calls (by our coaching staff); another poor game by "defensive guru" Brandon Failey's defense. Bunch of buffoons. Wins only extend Failey's life...and who wants that?

Staley could have had the Browns possibly, probably pinned back with a punt and 1:40 on the clock and no time outs. Guess what folks! Staley is going to make these incredibly stupid play calls again. Just you wait.

it would have been 110. They were out of time outs. A running play takes five seconds, you take a delay of game or down to one second. You put with like 115 or so and that takes 5 seconds so you they get the ball with 110 on the clock

and nobody would second guess Staley
if they lose - pitchforks and rightly so

The 3rd down play call and 4th down deceiaion we completely inexcusable. So bad

Well I get why they ran the ball - inside even as if you go outside you might stop the clock
but i do not get the reason they went on four down

We did the same thing last year against the Eagles. It sucked that it didn’t work out this time. But I can understand being torn about the entire situation.
