Lombardi's repeated clusterfucktastic failure to comprehend that teams run out a clock by getting first downs and not by running the running ball is equally incompetent. If someone is telling me that the 4 plays that we ran on the final series before the kneel down were the best 4 plays that we could have run to get a first down, then that someone is clueless. Two runs into the teeth of the defense and a short pass--just awful play calling before we even got to 4th down.
Nobody is disappointed that we won. But many of us can see that terrible coaching decisions are putting what should be easy wins into jeopardy.
