No designed deep passes to Guyton. No play action passes on first down to set up the deep pass. No use of the Guyton, Carter and Williams troika that I have been begging to see on the field.

When Allen is not on the field, defenses can focus more on defending Williams. We need to put pressure on the defense with the speed we have if they do so. That means Carter and Guyton and not Palmer...ever.

Lombardi has proven to be what/who he is: a competent NFL play caller. He’s NOT a good offensive coordinator who maximizes the player’s talents + pressures the defense. Plain and simple. It’ll be interesting to see what Telesco and Staley do in the off season….l
