Kadarius Toney scores a TD for the Chiefs. He's a speed WR who ran a sub 4.4 40, a first round pick of the Giants last season, who may have just needed a change of scenery. I thought he might be a good trade acquisition for the Chargers, give Herbert a WR who can get behind defenses. KC got him for a third and a sixth next year.

Why does everyone play like dog sheat against the chief, but faking super bowl caliber vs us?

Winning consistently does that. Creates a little fear. Especially teams that are trying to overcome years of losing and are still trying to shed that losing mentality. LIke ghosts feed off fear...its the same the the Chiefs. Probably a mental thing. Mahomes and the Chiefs are media darlings as well. Because the media loves a winner and will promote them. So there might be a little psych warfare as well. Media makes them out to be monsters of the midway. And they are feared for good reason. Takes an Alpha team to take them down.

Chiefs are also a very well coached team. Even the depth on that team is extremely well developed. Really high execution rate on offense there. Pairing Mahomes with a QG/Offensive guru like Reid was bound to create this.
