Haven't watched a lot of preseason games of other teams but I judge more from the regular season anyways.

Heh…sit Rumph III out against the Saints. He’s a proven commodity. Do that please.

UDFA Josh Jobe leads Philly in tackles and is likely to make their 53.
UDFA D'Vonte Price is in the mix for the last RB spot in Indy (Facyson CB3 and Tony Brown CB5 for the Colts)
UDFA Demetrius "Sawed Off" Taylor is getting noticed despite depth on Detroit's Dline.... might not be able to hide him on ps ?? hopefully we are monitoring his situation in case he is a cut casualty.
the Punt God one punted for the win, as he is taking over as starter for the Bills.
Faalele stayed over from the offseason to work on his conditioning as played second most snaps in preseason game, penciled in as Ravens' backup RT.
OLB DeAngelo Malone looks to be a situational pass rusher and STer, beating tackles in practice and making tackles (for loss) in games.... has added close to ten pounds as well.
S Dane Belton broke his collarbone, after being penciled in as nickel back/S3.
NT Noah Elliss was waived non football injury, despite signing an UDFA (star) contract for a quarter million dollars.
WR Britain Covey is a slot receiver w/the quickness, and even better as a return man, and is the Wes Welker/Michael Bandy of the Philly preseason.
Kyzir White is ahead of Nakobe Dean on the Eagles depth chart, who played better in actual preseason game than in camp.
IOL James Empey had a 90.8 PFF grade in week one preseason game.... not sure how he fared against us/LAC.
for those of you touting Jalen Virgil, he blew Dallas up with 3/83, and shoulda had a long TD on top of that if his QB hadn't overthrown him.
Cade Otton is a solid for Tampa Bay as their TE3 and has even been hailed as "Baby Gronk."
Jameson Williams is on (NFI/non football injury) IR/PUP list 'til mid season.
Jermaine Johnson is no George Karlaftis, and is not even guaranteed to be the No. 1 situational pass rusher, as he has failed to earn a starting role w/the Jets.
Karlaftis is yet another reason (besides Mad Maxx) that I would prefer Salyer @RT, as don't think the either of Pips nor Storm is gonna hold up against George.
Garrett Wilson is still my man, and.... Breece Hall rushed for one yard on four carries behind Dan Feeney & friends....

think that's most o' my picks, and.... some of yours,

Only comment on Penning especially but in general is these are preseason reps and these kids arent necessarily being tested by 1st teamers yet in those games. Id guarantee if Bosa or Mack went up against bad technique and rawness Penning that it would be an ugly outing all game long. Slater on the other hand had the technical side well advanced and the physical ready from day 1. Maybe Penning has upside but put him next to Slater and one opening day against the defensive rookie of the year even and I think Penning would be majorly exposed. We shall see how Penning does once teams have tape on him.

I think he's gonna be a stud - but his QB is definitely gonna take some lumps this year.
