Absolutely he will. Even if he was drafted to be a STs dynamo like Kassim he would be worth it imo. I think he could start there and do a ton of damage with his size and speed. Coverage especially. Staley likely wanted a CF type. I could see both Woods/Adderley on the field at the same time making plays. Thinking more situational/pass down stuff.
That's my guess. Play in space, coming down on the ball, break some hearts.

Problem with ST is that he has tackling issues. Hopefully it gets cleaned up over training camp. But yeah, Woods/Adderley on the field together will allow Staley to more effectively use Derwin.

Was he ever a gunner in college? Its hard to teach guys to tackle better in the NFL when they aren’t allowed to tackle in practice anymore. They are barely allowed to run.
Tackling is over rated when your intercepting or knocking the ball down 99% of the time. Adding way more than subtracting from tackling issues plus who says he doesn't become at least adequate at tackling.
