Agree, the problem (year after year after year after year) is that they get very little help up front and get pushed around.

Te'o's been on our team 2 years and hasn't been on the field much.
Butler's been here longer, but he also hasn't been on the field much.

You're right though. Our D-line sucks. I didn't like extending Liuget's contract. He's our best D-lineman, but that isn't saying much.

Yes. San Diego is too big - too much traffic.

However, in certain places, you'll still get acknowledged by a stranger. And, in OB, there's generally somebody willing to pass the kine.

It's a big place but it still has some nice "small-town" kind of people. Those people exist in L.A. too, but there are fewer per capita. And most of L.A.'s nice people speak Spanish. I mean - not the ones doing the raping - the other ones.

Is Hodads the same now that the owner died? I think that was the owner - the dude with all the tattoos and hardware?

Hodad's expanded with a store downtown and a restaurant at Petco Park. I think the lines in OB are still present but I haven't been there since the owner died. FWIW, I wasn't impressed with the burgers, too greasy for my taste and the condiments were overloaded to the point of disintegration. I like OB overall though and love Winston's.

Speaking of burgers, if you really want a horrible one this offer apparently is valid today.
