Definitely something to look forward too!

Personally where I am at is that before all the optimisitc playoff talk, the 2022 Chargers first need to beat a good football team this season. Something they have not done yet.

It's an astounding accomplishment and a dominance usually only associated with the Patriots.

Last season the Bengals did not beat a team with a winning record until they knocked off the Chiefs in Week 17. The previous two teams with winning records they had faced were in Weeks 13-14 - the Chargers and 49ers - and they lost both games at home.

OK, I'll bite. Raiders + GM Dave Ziegler in Year One and Broncos + GM George Paton in Year Two of their rebuilds, They are gonna get better, no matter what the Chargers do in the off-season, and the moves made by Las Vegas + Denver ownership groups, will pay dividends.

Russell Wilson's foot speed is completely pedestrian now, Broncos need to figure out how to unload him. Derek Carr isn't the guy in Vegas, either. You know Josh Daniels wants his own guy at QB. Carr lacks toughness and McDaniels knows the book on Carr: he gets the 'yips' when there is a dirty pocket.

Chargers have a franchise QB and four Pro Bowlers on defense going into the season in Bosa, Mack, Derwin, and JC Jackson. They are flirting with missing the playoffs. THAT is underachieving and time to clean house.

well, we've only had 2 of those pro bowlers on defense this season

At what point do we admit the "bad takes" are actually accurate assessments?

In 1983, the Lions didn't beat a good team until Week 13. Wait...what does this have to do with anything again?
