I think they more likely to poach a practice squad player.
Denver or Bills would be good teams to take a DT from.

Or the Commanders...they've got a rotation of 1st round draft picks on their DL. Surely they must have someone worth pinching off their practice squad?

Chargers have depth. Problem is depth should fill in, but not start.

If Slater not injured
If Pipkins not injured

then Sayler and Sarell are depth and very good depth.

Rivers had more injuries on many of his OL’s. Every position needs quality depth and as the preseason revealed, our 2nd and 3rd stringers sucked compared to other teams.

Rivers played most of his career with starting OL that would not make our P.S.Nick Bosa did not have his best game ever vs LAC's PS RT.
Our preseason revealed that our 2nd and 3rd string OL as a starting group were not as good as other teams starting DL.
