If we only have some $13 million left per Popper's guestimate, how the hell are we gonna sign JC Jackson? The guy is rumored to want $20? The Mack signing left us pretty limited on what we can do from here, unless of course there is re-structuring and/or Bulaga is finally released.

Think of the MW deal and how that was structured for the first year cap hit.

I have the Chargers with $21.5 - but that includes Bulaga being released. And Xenos is correct, Popper takes out for the draft picks, the practice squad and money for the season as I used the same.

Now the Chargers do not need to do anything yet with Mack or Bosa as free agents haven't signed yet. Chargers are still in very good cap shape.

I said this might be an option long ago, if he's healthy, the front office might not want to go into the draft without a vet at RT.

I wouldn't take a chance on Bulaga. The team has until next Friday to release him without paying his $2.5m bonus

If he wants to play for say $3m and his back checks out - maybe. But thats a long shot
