I get that big plays happen - but for the most part, everything was underneath and short. Granted, missing Jeudy and Patrick didn't help. But half his yards came on the Sutton pass; the Fant catch and run (somebody missed a tackle) and the little screen to Gordon before half time. Thats basically 110 yards right there. Now I get big plays to add to QB stats - look at Burrow and Chase yesterday. But, I think the Chargers defense had a solid game. Much better on 3rd down.

Jeudy being out was a blessing. Saved him from the embarrassment of dropping wide open passes.

For me, its an old Key and Peele skit. One of them plays a substitute teacher who cannot pronounce the names of students. One of the kids is named Aaron but the teacher (played by Peele I think) - calls him A-A-Ron

The Broncos defense has been very good with Fangio, as most of his defenses are. He would be an excellent addition. Just let the crusty old sweatpant wearing sumbitch coach the defense. Not worry about time outs or clock management or challenging calls or going for 2. Just let Fangio coach the defense.

Raiders standout rookie CB Nate Hobbs was arrested for DUI early this morning after found asleep in car pulled off at ramp for parking lot.

I have no idea if Hobbs is any good but maybe he is not playing this Sunday night

QB rating is a stat that often doesn't tell the real story of a game; a QB can pad his stats in garbage time when a game is one-sided. The real story is that the Chargers' defense held Lock to 245 yds and 1 TD, much of that yardage and the lone TD came in garbage time. QB rating doesn't take into account the Chargers held the Broncos to 83 yards rushing, limiting Javonte Williams to 2.1 yds per carry. The stat that matters is allowing the Broncos to score 13 points - including a lucky FG and a garbage time TD - while scoring 34 pts.

But that doesn't fit the Staley's defence and Tom Telsco suck agenda!!! Noooo!
