I’ll stay out of the Covid stuff, but do want to say this…the personnel staff for the Browns must be pretty good. They lost their punter due to Covid and signed Colquitt off the street and he has looked like a pro bowl punter the last two games. And they grabbed Mullen, coached him for 3 days and he started and played pretty darn well. I would rather have Mullen than Stick or Daniels next year.

The Browns have a good offensive scheme that goes through the running backs. They should move on from Baker even though he’s the best QB they have had in decades. Need to get someone with more upside.

Might need to call Rivers - and by the way, keep Herbert in lock down

I have thought for the past couple weeks Daniels should be away from the team for this reason.

agree.... they should keep him until they find someone better..... like KC did with mahomes..... smith was a very solid 100% effort game manager type of QB..... like Baker.....

hard to draft a great one without sucking big time unless you have vision like Reid and spot a gifted QB others see flaws in..... in ways Herbie fits in that description.... many thought Herbie would be like other super athletic big QB's who have failed.....

Herbie has proven that he has ability and intangibles to help him work hard and correct/improve any flaws people have found.....

Definitely. Don’t need speculation about what backup can go if such and such a player goes out. Let’s cross those bridges when they present themselves, in real time. I got momentarily freaked reading post about how Chase would do fine. Hadn’t kept up here last 24 hours. Momentary heart stoppage, hehe.

I have seen nothing in the game of Easton Stick that shows the Chargers would be good to go on Sunday with him as backup. Even against the Texans. With Daniels, I would feel a bit better as I think he can make more throws and experience.

But just keep JH10 locked up - and ready for Sunday at 1PM ET!
