So unfortunate. Instead of watching some great match ups the conversation will be this guy & that guy out. Still hoping Chargers and KC are both in the playoffs.

Since Kelce is vaccinated, there is a decent chance he could still suit up to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

The NFL’s new protocol — agreed to over the weekend — helps Kelce’s case.
The biggest alteration is NFL players who test positive for COVID can now get back into their team facilities as quickly as one day later if they meet this standard: If a player has been previously vaccinated and is asymptomatic for a period of 24 hours, they need only one negative test and one negative rapid-result swab to return to team activities. Under this new guideline, players can also begin re-testing immediately following the 24-hour asymptomatic period. Previously, vaccinated players who tested positive for COVID could begin retesting only after a five-day period and required two negative test results.

The AFC is completely up for grabs, and the seeding won't be settled until all the games are played. Your Chiefs right now deserve the #1 seed, but they also have had some things break their way during their streak

Yes the AFC is up for grabs. Good luck .....Yes recently. Early season not so much. It does take some good luck to win it all. I really dont care about the #1 seed. Just get in the dance. The talking heads make the #! seed sound so important. It improves ratings.

Kelce was at a party Friday night in LA for a record release with a couple of armfuls of ladies. Not surprised by this news.

Well that sucks big time if true. I would think he flew back with the team to KC. Maybe flew back to LA the next day?

                        1. Another Monday, another COVID-19 situation for the Chargers. Seven players were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list: edge rusher Joey Bosa, center Corey Linsley, edge rusher Chris Rumph, cornerback Tevaughn Campbell, safety Trey Marshall, defensive back Kemon Hall and returner Andre Roberts. Bosa and Hall have already been ruled out for Sunday’s game in Houston, according to coach Brandon Staley. The other five players on the COVID-19 list are “day to day,” Staley said. Vaccinated players have an easier path to returning under the league’s new protocols. This is a fluid situation and we could see more players land on the list Tuesday. Of note: running back Austin Ekeler and tight end Stephen Anderson were not at practice Monday.

                        2. The loss of Bosa for Sunday is, obviously, massive. He had really hit his stride since the bye week. Bosa has a sack in six of his past seven games. He had another strip-sack Thursday night against the Chiefs and leads the league with six strip-sacks this season. He is three sacks away from setting a career high, and with seven more pressures against Kansas City, he was tied with the Browns’ Myles Garrett for sixth in the league in total pressures, with 62 entering Monday’s games. Kyler Fackrell, the Chargers’ third-best edge rusher, is on injured reserve after undergoing minor knee surgery. Fackrell will miss at least one more game before he is eligible to return. With Rumph also on the COVID-19 list, the Chargers could be down to Uchenna Nwosu, Kenneth Murrayand practice squad member Emeke Egbule as their only three edge rushers in Houston. “It’s going to be a team operation,” Staley said of managing his edge rusher group. “You’re going to be borrowing from a couple places. You’re just going to have to have a lot of hybrid-type groupings available. It’s going to be all hands on deck.”

                        3. In a positive development for the Chargers, rookie left tackle Rashawn Slater was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday and was back at practice. Slater missed Thursday night’s loss.
